I am currently trying my hand at culturing berghia nudibranchs and in preparation I have a few tanks that I'm stocking with aiptasia.
My question is will green film algae prevent aiptasia from taking hold? Should I put a few snails in my aiptasia tanks to take care of the film algae so there is more real estate for the aiptasia to grow? Or does green film algae not affect where aiptasia can grow?

Reduce the photo period and broadcast feed to increase the aiptasia growth and reduce the algae production

Snails won’t consume aiptasia, so you can add them.

I would consider reducing the photoperiod.
