Algae? ID

Just showed up today on this rock only in my Deskmate. Not sure what this is (newer reefer) or if it’s even an algae. Just installed a reef glass skimmer a few days ago and added a candy cane frag a week ago that I had to remove an Aiptasia from.

Whatever if it is was about to pull of from the rock. So I got it out with a pipe tote and here is what it look like with a 10x loupe.

That looks like a peice of fish poop that got caught on the rock
