Hello fellow reefers.

Algae help.

I was doing a slow approach and Stocking my 90L after August. I CAUGHT THE BUG! So I checked my parameters and all was good I got told I can stock fish now. I did originally want to cycle my rock without light. That didn't go very far.

I got my tiger pistol shrimp and tangerine goby a few days ago their incredible.

I have a very cheap basic light it came with the tank there's only 4 settings and it's not on a time frame.
I don't know if it's a good sign but I've noticed a smidge bit of orange or brown algae growing. Is this a good sign?

I'm leaving the white lights on throughout the day for 4 hours and blue light for 4 is this okay to do?

Algae showing means you are starting to go through the ugly phase of a tank, which is a good thing. Did you start with dry rock or live?
