Looks great! What aminos if any are you adding to the tank?

Haven’t used aminos in a year or so. When i did i was using brightwell but never really saw a difference in the corals when using them. Just feed reefroids

Yeah I do Reef Roids. How often do you use it and do you broadcast or target?

I typically just do it when i think about it. Maybe a couple times a week. I’ve been trying to feed more often since I’ve been lowering the nutrients in the tank.

Any updates, photos? How's this bad boy doing?
It’s been a little since i showed some updated pics I’ll attach a few below to show how things are progressing. There hasn’t been much change in equipment Just been juggling the Alk levels recently with removing a few larger colonies to make room for new frags i had to adjust for new dosing needs.

I unfortunately do not. I had the yellow tang for several years before it passed.i finally have a powder blue tang that has been doing well and the melanurus wrasse is always fat and happy.

I'm sorry for your loss. I was actually asking because my son insists on a flame angel in ours, but we are trying to decide on a Tang. Originally he wanted a purple, but so many opposite views. I'd love to hear your observations about a Tang in that tank. Your input would be quite helpful.

I’ve always had a flame angel in the tank along with a Midas blenny and clown fish, just some of my favorites personally. I think yellow tangs are definitely easier to care for and tend to be relatively mild tempered from my experience. Since the yellow died a while back i decided i really wanted a powder blue. I try to keep colors balanced in both the corals and fish for added interest. The tangs can get a little territorial so I’d suggest getting smaller less dominant fish first to avoid fighting.
