Update: 9/6/2012

So the pass 3 months my tank has been thru some algae problems that most of you know. I ended up taking all the rock out and cooking it and now it's in the last stage of the re-cycle process. It's been slow but once all set should be worht it in the end.

I also in the mean time sold my ATI fixture and upgraded to an Apollo Reef LED fixture. Which i am pretty happy with the buy. I am still going to add a retro fit kit in the coming months for that extra pop I just hating being without T-5 for some reason, basically design my own Hybrid LED -T-5 combo. Most of my system is controlled by my Apex controller which is the best thing a reefer could ask for.

My recent purhcase was a 30lb bag of Tropic Eden Sugar size Sand I started adding this to my system yetserday to the existing sandbed to make it a more deeper sandbed than before. I am really happy with this purchase this sand is almost white as snow and it does not cloud up you tank as much as the other stuff does. I am adding sand about 5 cups every other day just to get the crittters a chance to grow into the new sand bed.

Here are a few updated Pic for now

Just want to give a shout out to everyone who has helped me along. I know this hobby isn't cheap and your generousity is awesome.

But just an update on my health. Doctor has cleared me of the Fungal infection in my left lung. Right now I am on the last bit of healing and I have been in and out of the hospital for the pass 6 months. I would never wish this sickness or disease on anyone as the medication is strong and can damage you're liver if your not careful. I lost 34lbs while being sick. I learn that this is also called the Chicago's Disease, which is pretty common to catch near construction sites or people that are gardening. The midwest area has the highest fungus count in the soil which in Men this is more common to happen to. I just thought I put this info out becasue this can easily be misdiganoise as just Bronchitis or Pneumonia. This Fungus infection is called (Blastomycosis) which can also mask a Heart Attack very well which in my case I thought I was having one and which is why they found out that this was something else other than a Pneumnia. The Lung Byopsis Sucked!

Anyhow just thought I give an update on my tank and condition. Happy Reefing Everyone.

My cycle has completed.... I redid my rock scape and now it's time to add fish and corals again. I have a pair of Onyx Clowns and a Yellow Wrasse. I will continue to add thing as I go on.

Just thought I say that this stuff is awesome not only does it pulls out Phosphates but it also helps keep your water crystal clear and works as Charcoal Carbon. I ran this in a bag where water flow is heavy and I got to tell ya works awesome my corals the little bit that I have love it.

It removes so much pollutants that when I first put in the granules in they were White as snow. Removed the bag a month later brown and clumped together. Even the center of the granules were brown didn't think it would get that deep.

Well it's been awhile since I've updated this... My tank has been pretty stable and I haven't had an Algea outbreak since I was uing the Elimin Phos by Tropic Marine, I have since switched back to using GFO and everything seems alot happier. Here are my current photos of my tank... :)
