Tank went through an awful bryopsis outbreak that took awhile to clear up.
On a positive note, I didn't loose any fish or corals with the outbreak, despite the algae choking out the rock.
I have 7 acros glued and starting to encrust, along with 3 brown outs I bought for a few bucks I'm keeping on the rack to see what they do before I glue them down.
I also have a pair of rainbow acans that are starting to drop some heads, so will be great to see those grow.
On to tackling the aiptasia, always something with this hobby lol
The only time I can get a decent top down shot (my favorite view of the tank) is with the whites on. Even with a filter, it's just too blue
I recently picked up a SC Orange Passion at a swap that I am super excited to see grow out.
It has seemed to really dig my tank so far, but we will see how things progress over the next few months.
My best-growing acro so far is a NAF Darth Vader, a millie that has a really awesome crimson color with black polyps.
Pictures, especially my blued out ones, don't do this guy justice. He's starting to encrust onto the rockwork and I can see new heads starting to pop.
I got this really neat no-name that has this really rich burnt-orange color on the side that gets the most light that I can't seem to pick up on camera
Pics don't do it justice. Haven't gained any height but it's happily making its way onto the rocks, very excited to see what it's growth structure looks like in the future.
Picked up a small clown and a 6 line, I'm more of a coral guy but nice to see more movement in this mostly stick tank haha
