I have to say that this tank is jawdropping. Can't believe that such simple routines are giving you such amazing results. I've been trying so hard to keep up with sps for months and still can't figure out. I will definelty be trying your basics. And men men men.. on behalf of all of us, let me thank you for taking the time to read and reply to every single thread. This hobby need more people like you. Hopefully my 180 can be a successful one like yours.

My new toy coming today. So I officially a Jebao fan boy! [emoji1]

After my two mp10 fail on me, I have replaced them with all Jebao pump. I have 3 now.
Opinion on Jebao pump: Big footprint, easily to adjust flow direction. Super strong at first, then lost it power gradually.
Anyway, they are cheap and get the job done! Recommended!

I got mine from Amazon.
I love the "C" mode on these pump. They random on/off. So with 3 pumps on/off randomly, they will create a very random flow. [emoji848]

Last time when I did a little trim on my shade of fall colony, when it grow back, it doesn't keep the shape like before. It look ugly, I don't like it![emoji35]

So this time I decide to do a little experiment. I trim this guy down to the root!
Let see when it grow again, will it gain the shape back?[emoji57][emoji57][emoji57]

I keep the frags sin case this remain colony die, I will glue everything back together and have a coloni again! [emoji1]jk

What salt do you use?

I use Reef crystal from the beginning and recently switch to ESV salt.
I have no complaints about Reef Crystal except it leaves white residual on the bottom of the mix tank. (Hint: you can buy reef crystal 200 gallons pack very cheap on Amazon, ship to your house!)
About the esv salt. The only complaint I have is it take more steps to prepare than other salt.

I want to share a survival story. I broke off a nub of my Asd doomsday a couple months ago. It was literally a 1 polyp frag! I am so so so regret that I didn't took a picture of it at that time (honestly because I didn't think it will survive!)
Here it is now, I think 6 months or so. Start sprouting nubs.

So far I haven't throw away any broken pieces, even a nub, 1 polyps frag because after all, they are still alive "animals" ! [emoji18]

When your target feeding each day are you doing it with lights on or off?

I usually have time to mess with the tank at around 10pm. So I feed fishes and corals at at time.
At 10pm all t5s are off, the radion turn down to very blue (because that's how I like to view it)
As I state above, main reason of my coral feeding is just to "polluted" the water.
