30 day experiment tank: Experiment over, moved to Phyto dosing

With feeding daily you’re adding a lot of nutrients to the tank I’m not surprised your stuff went up. I’m sure more knowledgeable people will be able to chime in with better thoughts, but I’d say more nutrients in the water more chance for better growth, you just also have more chance of algae eating those nutrients as well.
You may also want to think of doing small water changes after every feeding to help curb it? I know that’s a pain and pricy with salt.

I’ve noticed my phosphates rising quicker but my nitrates are always stay lower than 5ppm since starting reef Roids earlier this month. Feeding twice a week

2 Week Mark.

Something made everyone mad. Best I can guess is either the gfo I put in or the new media cup I put in to replace the 7 inch sock holder. Don‘t think gfo since Po4 same. Only thing I can think is I must not have cleaned the plastic good enough and something was on it. I have carbon and chemi pad in. Hopefully will not kill the experiment 1/2 way in.

2 week side by side comparisons

Growth can be seen. I wish I didn’t have the little issue going on. I can see a big difference in the coral in the last 2 days. They look shrunken.

Got a few shot that were almost exact matches. 1 shows some plate growth but not upward growth. The other shows shift in color. (Today on left, beginning is on right.)

Nothing to write home about. They are still a bit upset due to a water quality issue from a few days ago.

I had stirred some sand up before the pics pulling some algae so everyone looks a bit annoyed. I don’t think the fav is going to come back unfortunately for my water issuse
