I made a few changes to my set up.

1. Installed BRS mini reactor with AquaIllumination Axis 40 Centrifugal Pump.
Reason: Dead silent, cant hear anything even at 100% do to DC pump.

2. I 3d printed all new covers for the sump.
Reason: Noticing my tank is losing roughly 1 Liter of water daily, trying to reduce water evaporation in all locations.

3. Returned the bubble magus curve 5 protein skimmer.
Reason: Too loud, noise is the number one deal breaker, bed is literally 10ft from the tank.

4. Installed Fiji Cube ARF-20 Automatic Roller System.
Reason: Convenience.

5. Relocated heating element and thermostat sensor, it will always have water.
Reason: Being more efficient with sump compartments.

Can you send me these files? I was going to do this. The little gaps are so goofy.

I like how you did the mount system on your mini reactor! Your whole system has a nice clean layout.

Rock work has been completed, I don't know if this has been done before or if it's a good idea.

I have elevated my rock work by 1-1/4" with PVC caps, because I want a 2" sand bed and didn't want my rock buried.

I assume if I choose to go with a pistol/shrimp combo they would love it since they can dig directly under the rock without getting blocked by the rock itself?

First set of pics will be of the left side:

Rock is in the tank, turbo start 900 has been added per instructions of 1oz for every 25 gallons, added 2oz.

Waited 2 hours and added 1mL/GAL of NitroCycle and ammonia has kicked up to 3ppm.

I need the silence :(, i’m a light sleeper.

My Nyos 120 makes ZERO noise. Besides bubbles popping.

Just now printing the files. How did you make them? Do you have the step files? Mainly the reactor holder. I ordered the reactor and will need to make some file changes.

Ill start with the cabinet... Working with the given sump and piping that came with the system wasn't going to work with my ideas, so i gutted it all out.
My thinking with all the threaded fittings was not to be wasteful, It's expensive when you have to toss out everything and re-pipe, so now I can just dismantle a good portion of each run if i need to do any rework and only throw away a bit.

I purchased 2 additional sump pump return connectors to make this work. (They have pink stickers in the pic.)
If anyone is interested, this is where I bought them from:

Maaaannn, I like your sump. I wish I would have pulled the Red Sea sump out and gone with something different. The RS sump is just way too tight... Makes me cry :crying-face:
