I havent seen it and it very well may be awful... but feel like you can't trust certain reviews these days. Anything that comes across as "woke" gets instantly bombed like LoTR

I didn't hate LotR because it was woke, I hated it because it was bad haha. Those wood elves were like fingernails on a chalkboard, and the quality of the show couldn't help but be compared to a) the movies, and b) House of the dragon, going on at the same time, far superior

Yeah that's why I used it for this game. It has a reputation of being one of the worst shows ever made. The whole situation surrounding the show and it's reception is pretty interesting. Mindy tried to do some modern political commentary but it played to no one on either side and was super cringe. The whole thing is bizarre. Best part is that it's scheduled for a season two despite everyone hating it.

I stopped watching LotR and started watching the Willow series instead. The Willow one is a really nice straightforward fantasy adventure. Exactly what I needed as a palate cleanser.
