DAILY QUESTION: How do you prioritize features when selecting a new reef light?
I prioritize the ability to effectively keep coral healthy and then the timer function is nice too.

Spectrum, light design, the ability to mimic a natural environment. I currently have a Neptune sky due to the fact it came with my current setup. I bought everything second hand. I like the light it’s just not enough coverage for my tank. I have always heard great things about Orphek and when I was researching them found this giveaway.

For me it’s going to be seeing the Okinawa inspired blue light and the sun and moon sync. Also the app I love remote connectivity and control.

It gets me all that much closer to reproducing a natural environment. This helps with giving coral a natural rhythm and will help promote spawning and coloration. Added benefit is a very healthy ecosystem.

Lighting coverage has been my largest issue. What would be neat to see is the ability to intensify half a fixture. If you have a large bank of leds being able to intensify just a portion in case you need it in just that section of tank.
