Ha!DAILY QUESTION: How has reef lighting technology evolved since you first started reefing?
I'm relatively new so LED'S have long been established so much hasn't changed. The perception does seem to have evolved though. Good lighting can be cheap, black boxes are reliable.DAILY QUESTION: How has reef lighting technology evolved since you first started reefing?

Either as a replacement or a supplementDAILY QUESTION: How do you integrate new lighting technology with existing aquarium setups?
That’s a tough one. I’d say that depends solely in the rest of the equipment you’re running. With this particular light I’d try to ensure that there’s a “night mode” on the pumps to kind of mimic the tides with the moon. I got started after LEDs were already a thing. However, app control has really taken leaps and bounds in the right direction. Still some quality of life improvements can be made, but on the right track.DAILY QUESTION: How has reef lighting technology evolved since you first started reefing?
When my husband and had a FOWLR tank 20 years ago, we used the box lighting fixture that came with the tank and I believe we eventually bought a special bulb to put in it.DAILY QUESTION: How has reef lighting technology evolved since you first started reefing?
Our 75 gallon came with a Fluval Aquasky light and our 46 gallon came with nothing. We bought a Fluval Sea Marine for the 46 gallon but ended up putting that on the 75 after I purchased a SmatFarm for it, which I really like. I will probably slowly add some more SmatFarms to both tanks over time as funds allow.DAILY QUESTION: How do you integrate new lighting technology with existing aquarium setups?
