DAILY QUESTION: How do you think the Natura iCon’s advanced programming capabilities will enhance your reefing routine?
Having more programmable capabilities mean i can add in things that other lights might not be capable of like lighting flashes during storm events outside and pressure changes. The ability to program full moon cycles I think is the most beneficial capabilities.

DAILY QUESTION: What are the benefits of having a light that is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible?
You may not have Wi-Fi near the tank so having Bluetooth is a pretty nice feature. I plan on moving my fish room to a detached building on my property it will likely have Wi-Fi but if it doesn't ill be looking for this feature.

DAILY QUESTION: What excites you most about the future of saltwater aquarium lighting? What is one innovative idea you hope will eventually become a reality for reef lighting?
I think as lighting tech improves our operational cost will also decrease which is a win win in my book. A light that could sync with the local weather channel and produce lighting effects based on this information would be game changing in my opinion.

DAILY QUESTION: What's one topic of discussion in these daily questions you've enjoyed discussing or learning about? What's one thing you'd like to know more about with regard to reef lighting?
I've enjoyed discussing and learning about the new features these next gen lights offer in terms of programmability and spectrum. I'd like to learn more about lighting spectrums so that maybe I could improve my coral frag growth.

I think it would be cool if lights had some sort of built in motion that would change up the shadows and coverage throughout the day.

I loved the being able to change the lights to sunset and sunrise with the geographic location. Excited about it being more efficient as well!
An idea that I hope will become reality would be to have some presets for real color light spectrum, a preset moonlight cycle, thunderstorms… another idea would be to give you the par needing and it to change based on your coral needs and health.

I've liked seeing the answers about the features of different lights. Better than reading the specs and user manual- from people who understand it better than I do!
I need to learn more about par in the deeper tanks I'm setting up and which colors will develop color vs. just show it off.

I know zero about LED reef lights so it was interesting to read what was posted. I will need to switch over to LED from my T5. I will need 3 units....so how do I know what to look for in a light? I like to buy once (brand) and call it a day.
When you figure it out, let me know, too? I'm so baffled, I just give up!

Official entry: This light is "designed for the most advanced coral reproductive biology centers (specialized on coral spawning)." I would love to see some coral spawn in my system!
