Here is my final photo of rainbows army!! I’m just happy I made it through to the end! I just started having success ( not killing them) with acros when this contest started.

Over the year I have not seen a lot of growth but the polyps have been out since day one. I feel like over the last couple of weeks I am finally starting to see more encrusting and maybe things will take off.

Hello everybody,

this is my final submission for the month of February this day marks 365 days since my first post.

CA:465
ALK:8.0
MAG: 1450
NO3: 5.0
PO4: .02

Because there’s no flat surfaces on any of my rocks and the coral is now on a plate. I cannot stick it in the holder that it came with and it’s too big because it is encrusted over the plate. For this reason it made it very hard to get it accurate measurement of the coral for the final post, but the most accurate I can get was this one because I had to follow it directly in the middle because it did curve upwards.. did this measurement about 4 to 5 times with the same results

Measuring about 2.7 inches vertical

It appears the base is getting allot bigger. And is growing long branching arms.

All in all, this was a great coral, and it still is showing massive growth

Good luck everyone I had a ton of fun with this coral and talking to everyone here.

@StatelineReefer

How long after the final submission will the results get produced?

@StatelineReefer final entry.

initial photo for reference.

and some other shots from today since I always bump things and make the polyps retract when I try to take photos with the ruler.

this has been pretty typical for the last year:

no3 started around 50 or so and I've gotten them back down slowly over the year to about 8-10 which is what I wanted. PO4 was around 0.15 and has bounced a bit over the year from 0.07-0.15.

also for fun: I got a laser melon with this shipment. its started looking super fuzzy lately which is a relief. Just waiting on some more color to come in. It was just brown and didn't do anything for like 6 months, expecting it to do some nice things this year.

Last Submission! This has been great! We have MAJOR encrusting, but only a couple of nubs and a little height, polyps out ALL the time!

Looks like we are missing a couple finals (they still have time) then we will close this out and pick a winner.
@StatelineReefer

How long after the final submission will the results get produced?
Generally about a week or so. We gather the pics of all the finalists and then they get submitted to Adam.
