I am working on adding a DIY sump to my 75g tank. Been using a canister filter for 18 months but want to upgrade. I will have a CPR overflow with the little pump that helps maintain siphon. And I bought an appropriate size return pump to match the flow (thank you to a BRS tech who helped me...
...and it's default settings as well as the advanced function of "coding" I was able to make a custom feed mode for my return pumps and wave makers. But I am still very new at this.
I am looking to have my apex turn on a power outlet when ph gets below a certain # and turn off when reaching...
Ok.... here's a Review and Update
Last Tuesday morning shock dropped from 1.020ish to 1.015 a day after a significant ICH outbreak hit all my tangs.
Held at 1.015 for 6 days. All tangs must have dropped their ICH bc they cleared up 2-3 days in.. Only a few zoas closed up. So that was tues >...
Yes, please do.
I can't seem to find a fridge like Ellery shows in his video. (assuming is low cost)
Get the Brand and maybe model #.
The Koolatron works, but A super mini shelf type fridge might be a better option for me.
1. Between the DT and sump, 63 gallons. I'm pretty confident about that #. The DT is listed as 60g and the sump is listed as a 20g.
2. For me I feel that having an accurate measurement is important so I can dose properly. I might be a bit paranoid, but I'm new to the hobby so I'm trying to...
+1 for Neptune Aquatics. In case you're wondering, they do not have a telephone #. But they have a huge selection and can't beat their $9.99 selection, and up to $Don't bother to ask selection. You'll find $9.99 strawberry shortcake SPS to chalice to Aussie/Indo torches.
+1 for Aquatic...
A couple of quick updates.
Despite Husky advertising that each shelf can hold up to 1500lbs, I have been concerned with the weight of the holding tanks up on the top shelf. I estimated that when full they would combine to weigh almost 600 pounds. I filled the SW tank up to 30 gallons to...
Bit of an old thread but worth adding to. In the bottom left hand corner of the bottle is some information that tells us the Active ingredient is Imidacloprid 0.72%, and B-Cyfluthrin 0.36%, and other ingredients 98.2%. Although the product looks the same as the active ingredients are the same...
Not mine, but in my case, it may be due to different circumstances? No serial #. I bought it new as an open box (which should've come with the normal warranty?), so who knows? I've had nothing but stellar customer service from Kessil and Lorna was very nice, but I'm disappointed that I couldn't...

I generally keep my alk level at 9.6 testing with salifert test and It is very steady at this #. I use 2 part esv with a dosing pump. I didn't test for 2 weeks. 3 days ago I tested and it was 8.6. I manually dosed trying to get back to 9.6. It did not raise at all. I tried a couple more times...
My suggestion would be to use his calculator first. Fill in the numbers on the calc and it will show you what you need to dose to get you system balanced and to your target #. (I’ll put a ex. at the bottom)
Once the 2 are balanced and at the correct level you can start to dose the 1:1 ratio...
If you are successful checking out you will typically see a charge on your credit card or you receive an email from the vendor with your order #. are you clicking check out and putting in your pmt info?
Alice from Aqua UV knew they were wrong and simply replied were are shipping them, they will be there Friday and I will send a tracking #. Guess what never came???? A tracking # or the part.....

Good evening
I had good results with the product. I did not really see big results though until day 10-13. I held off the water change until about day 15-16.
As you mentioned the first 3 days is the recommended period to shut down the skimmer and media. After that you can turn on the skimmer...
...this weekend to check out some stores down there and find my first set of clownfish! Thanks for all the helpful advice as I start getting set up. Tank is done cycling I think; 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 20 ppm nitrates but will do a water change tomorrow to hopefully get rid of some of those...
