Swimming is fine.. only when it is resting occasionally it is looking down (pic). Something i never saw it doing in the past.Like swimming down? or facing down?
No.. it only does it near its favourite resting place, don't think it is looking for food.hmm does it float like that in open water or just near the corals? Could be looking for food?
#Fishexperts #reefsqaud anyone familiar with this behavior?
@Jay Hemdal knows his stuff we'll get to the bottom of thisHow long have you had it?

My koran is still doing it... not sure if i should be doing something to help..@Jay Hemdal knows his stuff we'll get to the bottom of this
Thank you very much Jay, will keep an eye and update. My koran developed HLLE a few months after i got it into the tank.. after researching making some changes to my system (e.g. changing my active carbon media) HLLE started to reduce/recover slowly.. so, what you see are some of the scars. The trouble is, by itself, that isn’t a symptom of any of the regular diseases. I do see that the fish has some epithelial thinning around it’s face, but that isn’t a treatable symptom either. If it isn’t breathing fast and is still eating well, I just would not have a treatment to suggest. Some fish do develop stereotypic behavior in captivity, but I’ve never seen this particular one before.
