acan vs aussie lord, is that the same?

They are the same, yes. They uses to be called Acanthastrea Lordhowensis, but were reclassified to Micromossua Lordhowensis.

Acanthastrea (Acans for short) used to contain the species lordhowensis, however, about 2 years ago the lordhowensis were removed from this genus and they now reside in the genus Micromussa. That is why we now call them Aussie Lords as they aren't technically known as Acans any longer.

There are a few differnt types of acan. Aussie lords were a part of that, but now they are considered a type of micromussa. Everyone still calls them acans, though
