How far away do favias and favites need to be placed away from other corals? I think I’ve read that they can sting other corals. I have a smaller tank....for now...with hammers, zoas, a BTA, Duncan, and ricordea mushrooms.

They can be aggressive. I have not had issues with them stinging one another. But mine aren't really near anything for it to be an issue, yet. lol I will report back as they grow. I think you should plan at least 4 inches between them.

Well sounds like your lucky! My kiddo is nearly 7. The independence he has gotten in the past year is crazy. He also loves looking at the corals. When he is shopping with me, he always goes nuts on the super hero named ones. We have a hulk, spider man, superman, etc. lol
