I don't have great luck when I leave them on the rack. They tend to end up in the sand, or whereve my urchin decides to wedge them.

Depends on what coral I am working with. All my zoas are pretty much directly to a big ole shelf rock. A couple other things here and there I don't plan on moving.

I don't take the frag plug off until I'm sure the coral and I are happy with it's placement.

it depends. sometimes i leave them in the sand bed for a while until i know theyre doing well. other times, i just glue that sucker to a rock and let it grow. depending on the coral, ill try and snip off as much of the plug as possible, because i dont really like the look of plugs everywhere. just my .02

Depends... at some point you run out of holes.

All of mine are glued. I got tired of snails nocking them off the rock.
