Currently doing a time lapse of the polyp extensions after placing the frags into the tank (after being dipped and acclimated).
Opinions needed: With WWC corals, do we need to light acclimate? I have a Red Sea 50 which has an acclimation setting (these are my first corals) so I have the acclimation mode on starting at 50% and ramping up over 50 days. Thoughts?
It is never a bad idea as we strictly use Radions over our systems. LED's are LED's and the diodes act similarly, but the intensity and photo period can be different.
Thank you! I actually bought that exact frag from WWC a few months ago. It's gorgeous. I definitely suggest the Jello Shot acro for anyone that likes stix in their tank
I can't agree more! The Jello Shot is incredible!
@WWC Question... last time I got frags from you a few of the Acropora and Goni's had these little things living in holes that had 2 antennas sticking out. I dipped the corals and they still didn't go away. Any idea what they are?
Can you please send us an email with daylight photos to [email protected] so we can see what you are looking at?
This is why there are self checkout lanes....
Haha, very true!
