Agreed.... And you're buying them as a show piece to keep. They grow slowly and it keep a lot of people away who want to turn a profit on frags. imo
I haven’t gotten into scolys. Maybe some day. For now I’m still a stick guy.

Any advice on birds nest? my only other sps is a Monti frag that I got two days ago so I have no experience with them yet

@Bleigh i noticed you mentioned you have sps doing well. What are your filtration methods and what do you think you did to keep them alive ?

WEll... the ones that weren't killed by my rodi dropping my salinity to 20 ppt a few months back.... lol It's all stability. Like, within decimal point stability... and for the simple things that people don't seem to talk about... salinity, ph, temperature, and alkalinity. I do ICP testing to make sure everything stays in range. But the trace elements don't matter at all if you can't keep the simple things rock solid.

the polyps melt if too much flow(had my side that was too close to the wall got a lot of flow and all polyps on that side popped)
