nah i think its mostly "LPS needs X-Y" or "acros need A-B". they did a lot of videos on par reading at various depths using different lights and spectrums. nothign about "acans need blah" or "favia need blah"

they tend to be picky on water quality mine does well in low med light also they tend to do better when target feeding also

Medium flow/light. Mount on a rock, off the sand. They grow in a ball shape. They can touch, but IME only similar colors. So reds/pinks can touch, but not a red/green. The non-red one will get nuked.

Yeah. Agreed. Watch your coral. They're just like fish. Just because a fish is peaceful, doesn't mean they wont kill everything. Watch to see if they like their spot and if not, be prepared to move it.

IME yes. I have mine all on the bottom on rocks with the same flow/light basically. I have a fruit loops micro and it has doubled in a few months.
