Hi Guys,

I am relatively new to the hobby. I am so confused by different naming of Acans and Lords.

So I already have an Acan from Austin Aqua Farms. They call it Australian Peerless Acanthastrea.

Is that the same thing as some of the Aussie Lords being posted here by WWC and can these be placed together?
Not sure if anyone answered you yet but as far as I know acan lords used to be grouped as acanthastrea. But more recently they were reclassified as micromussa lorhowensis. So it seems like the acan part stuck and people added the lord part to differentiate it. But this is just my guess.
