I never said that, although my tanks are nearing their final stock I have room for one extra special wrasse and I will now be told when another comes in stock :)

Hey there!!
Give us some ideas on your stocking in here and I’ll happily give you a ‘small’ list of species;
Be warned, I don’t do common names that often ;)
Thank you for your help. This is awesome. I currently have:
Hippo tang
Sailfin tang
Purple tang
White tail Bristletooth
Lubbocks Fairy
Blue eyes Anthias
Blue-green mandarin
3 Bangai Cardinals
2 jerk clowns

Future:
Convict tank
Psychedelic mandarin
Fire fish
A couple of pyramid butterflies
And a few more wrasses.

My tank is 150 gallons / 180 in the system.

Next time I upgrade, I’ll be ditching most of the other non-wrasse fish (that I don’t have already) and going for more wrasses ;)

This is the one I have:

The Indonesian variant is really a good variant and it appears yours is still a transitioning male :)
They gain a full body of sapphire scales that when in display go bright blue and their tails go deep red.
This is my Indonesian variant, the purple can be deeper and more blue as seen in yours but it can also be a more lilac as seen in mine. I have both variants however I don’t recommend it.

IMO wouldn‘t recommend the C. lunatus or A. lineatus here. Not for the first wrasse try outs.

C. lunatus is rather easy, as for A. lineatus I agree, not for the beginner however when you see the other fish he has some of them have similar reasons for being difficult as both Anampses and Macropharyngodon.
Obviously all of those wrasses need their own bits of research however they were just all different levels of beginner to difficult (I disagree with the expert label, I have cared for some of those fish but I don’t have knowledge of a proper expert) as well as being different levels of expensive, some are more expensive than others however no Johnsoni or Earlei was on there for obvious reasons… who has 1K to drop on fish that isn’t an addict like us?

Just got a text from my LFS... the red head was DOA :loudly-crying-face:
Fingers crossed you find another!
Wish I could ship to you, my LFS seems to get these guys in quite often…

TSA or WWC(orlando) hasn’t had one in months despite their claim of having them
