Cirrhilabrus isosceles (2nd photo)
Halichoeres biocellatus (1st photo)
Hologymnosus doliatus (3rd photo)
Nice
I had no idea what the third one was but was probably 8”.

And is it available to the hobby? ;)
I have no idea what that is but luckily my friend knew it was Eupetrichthys angustipes

As for whether it’s available I don’t think I need that temptation

I bought a used biocube and this guy came with it. They said the LFS said it was a wrasse but really can't find one that matches. Only picture I have that's clear, he moves a lot and is camera shy. Any ideas? Blue lights don't help but he is a blue/greyish color.

Blue head wrasse, Thalassoma bifasciatum I believe. Though it may be a different species of Thalassoma. They are one of the most aggressive genera of wrasse so be warned.

I disagree with T. bifasciatum and it looks more like Thalassoma lunare.

Well now I think we’re both wrong because it lacks the shoulder stripes of bifasciatum but also the yellow tail of lunare. Need better pictures I think.

I'll work on better pictures. The color of most wrasse don't line up. He has colored up since I took over the tank a few months ago but nothing like most wrasse.

I was thinking maybe a tile fish? Ill work on the pictures.

He is solid as far as color goes. mostly grey blue hue...

Hmmm
How big? I’m guessing it’s a female Thalassoma

Tilefish have a vastly different bodyshape to this, here’s the marcosi I have (I’ve had several others and cared for almost all species of available tilefish);

Possibly Thalassoma genivittatum but a white light photo will help best.

Had a hard time getting a good picture. But i think you all are correct with the Thalassoma. Although there are not many pictures that look like mine. This one looks exactly like her minus the yellow on the tail. Apprecite the help. Shes has taken out a few snails but is not aggressive towards the clown fish. All three fish came with the tank and supposedly she is 5 years old? about 3 inches in length. Clowns have been in the tank 1 year. This is just what the previous owner told me.

Whelp, reading up on the species I'm definitely going to need a bigger tank . (Currently have a 400L, snowflake eel, black leopard wrasse, chromis and rabbit fish)

Was my first ever fish, sold as a 'Christmas wrasse' as a clueless newbie. Getting more into the hobby and slowly stocking, I was doing some digging about compatibility and realised she was not what I thought she was!

At least now I know what I'm in for .

Honestly, Coris dorsomacula seems to be one of the calmer Coris species along with their close relative, Coris caudimacula. I wouldn’t worry too much currently.

If you were in the UK and didn’t want her I would’ve taken her off of you quite happily as these guys are stunning. Plus my Jade would probably like someone to compete with.
