Your officially a fish tease!
One of the fishes I got was a fish to replace the loss of a beloved fish I'd had for years and she's a stunner!! The other is a fish that's on my list that I'm glad I was able to add so early! And the third is a fish that I'm hoping to pair with a friend I've had for a long time that currently lives in the nano (second or third time I've seen one for sale here in 5+ years too haha)

Planning on getting a Versa 4 unit bar for the tank too when the ATO function stuff is released too! And I desperately need to add a bunch of snails to the tank too!! haha some amphi and copepods too!

Thanks Alex! It's going to look even nicer when I've got lots of coral on it! :D

Update please!
haha not much to update at this point :) Fish are doing well, I'm going to start up a more regular water change routine and also look to get a 4-set of Versa pumps to do my awc, ato and carx management :D I've gone full Ecotech junkie for this tank haha

More like oh my that price tag ;Dead;Dead haha thanks man, I'm hoping to pull it all together!!

That's exactly how I felt when I first stumbled across Wrangy's first build thread! He has some amazing taste in fish.
It's just going to take a while as availability can be quite slow here in Aus!

Mate! wow I know Iv'e been away for a while when you're 11 pages deep into a new build!
Congrats on the new place mate and the new tank is looking sharp!
The Reef dungeon is a place i'd happily be locked up in!

How was Noosa? I'm heading there next week with the missus for a week off.

hahaha yep, no mucking about here! Shame there's not a huge amount to report on but it's coming along nicely and I've done a heap of organising and cleaning out of the study/fishroom getting things to a level I'm really enjoying! :D Really looking forward to having fun again :D

We always love Noosa, we stayed in Sunrise Beach this time around and that's fantastic! We don't stay in Noosa main any more and we're usually over the hill in Sunshine or Sunrise :) Love the whole area though!

This bacteria bloom can kiss my lovely ginger behind haha

At this stage I'm going to let things play out for another month before considering a UV to deal with it. I'd rather take the time and let the tank sort itself out but this is still very annoying haha
Fish still look great! Annoying for sure but it will pass.

Definitely a pain in my butt but it'll pass and as long as the fish are okay I'm not stressed.

If it's aerobic you should increase aeration, keep those fish breathing!
The fish aren't having any troubles but I've been monitoring it pretty closely! I might add some airstones though :)

The bloom will pass. Give it at least a week before you bother buying a uv just for that.
I won't be buying one but I might see if I can borrow one off someone local just for a little bit to sort it but I'm just waiting for the moment :)

Day 438: Food is running scarce and there is fighting over water rations, this bacteria bloom seems to have no end and it's driving our fearless leader into insanity. We can hear him quietly muttering to himself at night and yesterday I think I caught him talking to the bacteria but I'm too afraid to say anything... I fear these may be our final days, lost in this cloud.
