Hi,
My freckle face tang has been acting very reserved and not eating much the last couple of days. Very different to what she’s normally like. Today, I noticed this mark on the side of her body. Can someone tell me what is it? A bite mark? Or disease?

I have my suspicions that it might be from the clown tang as I’ve seen him bully other fish. But never the freckleface. Not sure what’s changed.

I’ve attempted to use the aqua medic to take the clown tang out but no luck yet and it seems to just stress the others out more.

im not sure what to do from here on. Any advice would be much appreciated.

The nice thing about marine fish is their ability to heal naturally and quickly. Just keep an eye on healing and assure it’s healing and not getting infected with bacteria or worsening
Melafix would help with healing but not necessary at this point
