I trying to set up a larger tank for them but it will not be ready until next month, so sad to lose them but hopefully my clown will be healthy until then.
Yeah unfortunately this isn’t a fish that can safely be held in such a small tank while they await larger. They’re very prone to stress. Best to wait until you get a larger setup, and have it stable before trying tangs again. If possible, upgrade to at least a ten gallon for the clown too. You can grab a 10 gallon standard for cheap. It’ll be a bit easier to manage.

Agree with above sentiment. 2 hippo tangs in a 5 gallon with other fish!! That's just stupid, absolutely foolish. Others may blame the lfs or whoever sold you the fish, I blame you. It's your responsibility to research, decide and provide what they need. If I offered you a swift kick in the nuts for $20, would you take it?

Edit- I'll do it for $10

I have a 5 gallon tank, and including the tangs there are total of 4 live stock in my aquarium, 2 blue tang and 2 clownfish

You have (2) Blue Tangs and (2) clownfish in a 5 gallon tank???

Following is hypothetical:
I’m going to buy a nice car. The dealer tells me they will sell it to me. It’s 600$ a month…it’s my absolute maximum budget but I agree. Then I get home and get it insured. And find out the insurance is 300$ a month. And I don’t have 300$ a month. I spent all my monthly budget on the car note.

Who do I blame?! The dealer because they didn’t tell me to check how much insurance is and to work that in my budget ? Or is it my fault for not doing my research and asking my insurance how much this car will cost to add to my policy before I bought it ?

I agree entirely. But let's be realistic, if every LFS refused to sell fish to people they knew would probably kill them their profits would tumble and the whole trade could collapse. I don't think there are any easy solutions - at least not yet.
Agree, this is why people need to do their own research! This hobby is expensive, and we are agreeing to take care of life! Much research is needed for success. We simply can not depend on LFS to do the right thing. Plus, the more personal knowledge one has, the better your success!

My two blue tangs died today after a water change and some decoration arrangement. They started to lay down on their side quite often, and after a couple of hours, both of them died (I overlooked it because they behaved exactly like when first introduced to the tank two months ago). They are still eating fine to this day) I’m not sure what is going on and am worried because two clown fish look depressed after the tangs pass away.

My water parameter:
Salinity 34
Ammonia 0
Nitrate and Nitrite 0 ( API 5in1 test kits so probably not very accurate )
Temp 81F
I would recommend getting your big tank set up and cycling while you dive into some research. Learning by trial and error with lives of animals is not fair to them, and will eventually leave you feeling discouraged and wanting to give up. Everyone here is more than willing to help, but you must do your research as well.

Sorry but this smacks of a troll post to me. Actually like it's an alt account of someone who is here already, that enjoys getting people worked up. They knew exactly what to say, for maximum effect.
Would be nice if mods here could check the IP address and see if it matches another account.

This is called impatience. Why couldn't you wait until you had the proper setup? Lesson learned, I hope.

Moving forward, please design you system around the kind of fish you wish to keep.

Then the thing to do is ignore the post.

Well, the way things seem to work at the moment, the customer would sue the dealer for not making certain that the customer could afford the vehicle running costs

And the courts would find the dealer was at fault :)

Obviously it's all the fault of the LFS.

Obviously it's all the fault of the LFS.

I get the sarcasm. But there is some truth to this statement. It is unethical of them to let someone spend their money in this way when the lives of these animals are at stake.

Not tang gang everyone should be not necessarily at op but to whoever recommended or sold these fish to op.
I'm sorry but IMO we need to take responsibility for our actions not place blame. 60 seconds on here searching would have provided the info the OP needed to know that a 5g tank isn't going to cut it for a pair of clowns and 2 tangs of any size. 81 degree temp probably isn't helping either.
