Well this evening , I was cleaning the sand bed and noticed these hairy things in the sand bed. Red hairy things thought it was algae, but low and behold they were worms. Aka Cirratulid spp. Hairy worm . So as I was going through the sand bed pulling 5 or 6 total out. We , my days her and I . Placed one on her microscope slide, may I say pretty cool and very interesting. Now my daughter is got it in a snack Baggie for middle school science tomorrow . We use this microscope a lot , pretty good Santa clause present. Lol

we looked up what kind of worm it was, and checked to see if it was a good or bad worm or not. Come to find out they are filter feeders, and are ok worms to have. But better to be safe than sorry. this is what the worm is. Cirratulids sp.
