Ok, first off let me say that I feel horrible about this but it turned out well so dont yell at me:wink:. Any way so last saturday I did about a 50 gallon water change on my system. Well after I was done I was in a hurry to leave the house so I was'nt able to siphon all of the water out of the trash can into the toilet ( I left about 10 gallons in the bottom). Well long story short a week later I finally dumped the rest of the ice cold waste water out. Well As I was walking it back to my fish room I could hear flopping around in the bottom of the trash can and guess what I found? Yup my lawnmower blenny. Well I threw him directly into the tank and a few days past buy without me seeing him but to my surprise when I woke up this morning he was out and about and looked completely fine. I am really glad because it was my first fish in my new tank and I would have felt horrible . The only problem is my Hawiian flame wrasse is no where to be found:squigglemouth:

I did the same thing years ago with my very first tank. I was breaking down my 75 to move and completely forgot about my LMB and left him in about 4 inches of water with the sand for about 3 or 4 days days with no flow or anything. The water was room temp though. He was fine when I pulled him out.

the craziest thing is that he is pretty big and the hose that I use to siphon the water out is pretty small, so Im surpised that he got in there in the first place. Im just glad that he is doing fine.

Thats great news, glad he pulled through....I had a LMB go carpet surfing and found him no more than 10 minutes later and put him in the tank and he did not make it.
