If your tank doesn't have much fauna for your CBB to hunt, then you must remove the aggressive fish so that the CBB can eat in peace when you are feeding the tank. In my 320 gal tank full of worms and aiptasia, and my CBB pair eat aiptasia, I released them into it and they did fine. There is a large 5-6 inches Powder Blue and Purple tangs, small Harlequin Tusk, 4 inches Desjardini and a 3.5 inches 3 spot damsel (the resident jerk) My CBB pair did fine. I make sure that they were eating well and was eating all the aispasia in my QT system. My DT is full of aiptasia. They essentially have unlimited food everywhere so even they got chase for about 1 week, they are always full.
My situation is unique (IMO). You are going to have to be really careful and watchful. I would not release the CBB until it is eating really well and fat, and you have way to feed it without been excessively bother by other fish.

Can you remove the purple? Even a tote can work as temporary housing. IME its going to be very difficult getting the CBB eating with an aggressive fish in the tank. I started my current one off in a tank with a few other fish none of them even paid attention to it but I could tell by its shy behavior it was not going to do well in there so I pulled it an placed it in a tote. Even with black worms mine spends time checking them out before eating. That would not be possible in a tank with other hungry fish. All of the fish will show interest in the worms. Sorry if I seem to be repeating myself. I'm far from an expert but IME to be succesful with these fish they have to be willing to eat out of the water column or they will starve with other fish out competing them and this is difficult to accomplish in a tank with other hungry fish.
Have you reached out to the vendor to see if it was eating and what? If it truly is a quarantined fish I would think it would have been eating since QT is typically 30 days unless they just did a short observation which is not ussualy what folks expect from a fish sold as QTed.
I bought her from Dr. Reef.. He has been feeding her mysis and brine for 30 days +

The mirror seems to have magically 'cured' the Tang of her aggression. She's not attacking any fish anymore specifically the copper band.. She still attacks herself in the mirror every now and then, but she seems to be a reformed fish.

I overfed all of the fish today, and then I stuck about 10 masstick balls all over the glass and rocks. After hours of ignoring the balls, she started eating the remnants that other fish knocked off, and finally, finally she took her first nibble from the masstick ball. From there she has been non-stop munching on the masstick. I'm super happy things are working out so far.

Amazingly she also ate 3 pellets that dropped out of the auto-feeder, so I definitely think she's going to be an eater.

The reptile shop was closed today, but I'll buy her some black worms tomorrow too.

Can't thank y'all enough for the help! I love this place.

My DT has plenty of Aptasia, but I haven't seen her eat any yet.. Does she eat Aptasia of all sizes? Is it cool to see?

This is great to hear. I've had mine for close to 2 years and she still won't touch pellets even if I mix them in with the frozen.
