another option might be something like a hawkfish. flame hawkfish are also very fun to watch as they perch on rocks. Need to be careful of the types of inverts you keep since the hawkfish might make it a meal

My Midas Blenny sits on the rock work until you come near the tank then it perks up. I like to think it’s excited to see me, but it probably just wants food. Either way, its got amazing personality and a goofy little smile face. After having one, I don’t think I’d have a tank without one.

I really love the Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish. They are quite small so hard to spot sometimes, but when you do see them it's a special feeling. Here's mine.

100% agree. I have one too. The ones from africa are the nicest, with a purple underchin and light neon pinkish cheek stripes

Don't Flame Hawk's pester / attack shrimp? We love our Red Fire Shrimp and would prefer they not become lunch!
Mine has never pestered the skunk cleaner shrimp or snails. It depends, most are chill and will ignore shrimps(except for real tiny ones like the size of the fresh water red neocardinas)

Well starting with the most popular pick --- might do another one later, but the Tail Spot Blenny seemed like a no-downside winner!

Gonna chill out in QT for a bit then join the main tank!
