Hey all,
I have a pretty old Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue and it will not be making my tank transfer. However, instead of buying a fuge light, could I just use the 160 tuna blue? Would max blue, max white, or somewhere in the middle be best? As far as intensity goes, where should I be?

I have the controller for it as well as mounting. I could use an amazon grow light because I hear those work great. … In all honesty, I think that the controller will just look good on my controller board…

I'm running one at max white and max intensity. Tons of micro bubbles generated from photosynthesis, so much so that it floats the massive chaeto. IMHO, this seems to work better for me over the anaemic fuge-specific lights. Used to run 24/7, but reduced to 16hrs daily due to zero/zero nutrients.
