Clean Up Crews are some of the most important aspects of our tank since they can get rid of all the bad stuff that pops up in our tanks from time to time. I am wondering do you have a favorite member of your clean-up crew, or what is something that one of them has done that makes you like them a lot!!

Tiger sand conch since I find no "cons",,, but probably more for the fun factor over utility. (Most of my other fun inverts have at least some things to complain about)

For utility (sand) and no downsides, I guess I'd go with nassarius snails.

Definitely my thinstrip hermit crab, reason I got an aquarium, picked up a shell and got back to the truck and realized he was in it. He’s a lot bigger now

Tuxedo urchin is the best clean up member in my nano tanks. Takes his time and gives each spot a deep, deep clean. Also doesn’t harass any tank mates or corals, aside from picking up a zoa or two every once in a while.

It is also fun seeing the different “costumes” he randomly appears with. Here’s a photo of my little guy rocking the corpse of an emerald crab as battle armor.

Tiger pistol shrimp

This little guy does a better job than anyone else keeping my sand clean (I’m looking at you conch) and is the only one that seems to have any sort of “personality” with it’s fun behavior.
