I've got a Fender PJ.Oh!!!! I see! I thought it was a video game thing! Yep, that counts. I've got a Yamaha and a Peavey Bass. I wouldn't wish that Peavey on my worst enemy. But my Yamaha is nice. Has a fast neck.

That actually is an ole wives tale... Many fishing hooks (saltwater) are stainless or coated. Even if it wasn’t, it can take more than just a couple weeks to dissolve. On a recent episode of Polo reef, that dissected a Anthius that died and it had a small hook and monofilament in its stomach. They had that fish for a couple months. In salt water the hooks just dissolves in a week or two. Fish hooks never last too long.
Nice Striper! What are the Pufferfish for?i guess i might have a fishing problem when i realized i know those rocks real well and i live 3 states away. the vertical-ish one at the tip isn't so vertical anymore.
There are non stainless steel hooks and the expensive stainless steel hooks. You won’t get stainless unless you purposely look for and buy it. If nothing else the price is a bit different. That actually is an ole wives tale... Many fishing hooks (saltwater) are stainless or coated. that could be a super cool instrument to have in the ocean band. give it a kind of island feel. anyone play steel drums out there?Mine's Acoustic electric.
Pretty birds! So two members with conures have popped in over the past 24 hours. Love that!Loving all the photos!

Interesting. Do they have the toxin that some other puffers have, and is there a special method of preparation?thanks, most of my striper fishing is done at night, so i don't have many pics of stripers at all.
*looks over both shoulders and whispers* those northern puffers are pretty plentiful in new jersey during the summer, and they're delicious.
My kids play Tongue Drums and we have a Kalimba...that could be a super cool instrument to have in the ocean band. give it a kind of island feel. anyone play steel drums out there?
You had EIGHT KIDS! How did you do that and LIVE!Loving all the photos!

That is too cool for school. I'll try to dig up a pic when I was 17. I think I know where that is. I met my wife when we were 23. We have the EXACT same birthday. I'm 10 hours older. We're 60 now. It's been a great ride man. There's something to be said for LONG term, lifetime relationships.
What would we need to do that? I don't have a laptop and will probably need one for this. Also, would I need a 4 or 8 track? This is a new thing for me. My voice is NOT suited for Classic Rock, which is all that I've played. I'm at about 50% of my best, as I've not practiced seriously in years. But I could get back to 75% in a few months. 100% in 6 months. I ain't the best in the world but I can keep a beat. My voice is best suited for easy listening and folk. I'm a baritone-bass. Think Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Diamond. I JUST tried to sing Country Roads today and hit the high note twice out of four instances. So that's the very top of my range. I've got a semi-reasonable falsetto and can harmonize above better than below the melody. But my 60 year old voice is no where near what it was in my 30s.I would do it in a heartbeat. We could change the words to songs already written or come up with our own plus do cover songs that have something fishy/watery going on. We could do virtual practices somehow.
Yes, they are my sons, and I have NO idea how they do it!!! It would KILL me.You had EIGHT KIDS! How did you do that and LIVE!
Edit: Oh! GRANDKIDS! OK. That's better. My wife was one of eight!
My wife lost her Dad to Cancer when she was 5, back in '69. The oldest of 8 was 17. Her Ma raised them on her own from there. I consider her to be a Godess. She's 90 now and going strong. No physical issues. No mental issues. I've been calling her Mom for going on 40 years now. With Thanksgiving, I cook pretty much everything dinner wise. She cooks just about as much on the dessert and sides side. An amazing woman.Yes, they are my sons, and I have NO idea how they do it!!! It would KILL me.
