Someone said earlier to me that when the parasites disappear they come back 2 times worse if not treated properly using copper. I do really hope it works permanently for you though! Definitely suggest vitamins in his food as that seems to work well too. Other than that i can ofcourse give you more advice from my experience but since the ones before that failed with the ich and im also taking my advice from experts its better to ask them haha, I dont want you to do the wrong moves too yknow.
This is correct based on the life cycle of Ich and velvet as well.. Each 'spot' - can produce a lot more - and rapidly the aquarium is very highly concentrated in parasites.

I would like to know if there’s any scientific evidence supporting that. In any case these parasites also appear in the wild and I feel like you always risk getting them again sooner or later. The second time may be worse only because your may be more stocked with fish in that moment.

What kind of supplements are you using for vitamins? Since you’re also in NL.

I’m in the US right now and I’m going to bring back copper power with me just in case for future use.
Well honestly we are trying to recreate nature in an enclosure. I can understand that parasites are way harder to handle then since we do not really have much capability or control on that part, we try using the resources available then. Its sounds logical to me ngl, anyways I use "oceanart reefbalance" and " "Hs-aqua vivocell" recently so i have to see the results of that yet but I do use garlic guard occasionally

The coincidence ur there, I recently came across "Ruby Rally Pro" on here thats from the US and claimed to be effective against those parasites and reef safe, mixed commentary though so theres still risks. I was wanting to order one but its €80 shipping. When 1L was only €30 You should try to find it, ur lucky if they have it! Wish I could get that aswell haha

I’m here until July 15 so I’m hoping you’ve beaten the plague by then. Idk how my tank will fare in the mean time but I’m running UV now and will do more water changes. I’ve got a friend looking after the tank and just fingers crossed most of my fish are going to pull through! Cleaner shrimps must clean haha

Can you concisely list what you're wanting to do today - and why?

For today nothing

: Tomorrow
• start the treatment of "Seachem Cupramine" the copper product.

• add the UV light attached too the external filter thats running the main tank rn (filter material inserted is from the sump filter)

•add the reefbalance, bacteria capsules and liquid filter material to main tank

•let the flooring/bottom soak in osmose for 2 days

• add vitamins to the fish food = HS-aqua vivocell

• refresh qt water with home made salt water for 30% every 4 days (?, really need advice on this)

•is the qt temporary setup do-able? (Image added) the other fish do not seem stressed to me at the moment only the big guy a bit

(!!! The seastars and other crab/shrimp in the box are not in the sump anymore but back in the main tank, it was temporarily to keep them heated when i was adding the rocks back)

• I will add them back to the tank after the treatment instead of 80 days (2 prof store owners adviced me, gave me everything i needed thats set up tomorrow)i have a cleaner shrimp now waiting in the maint tank too and dont want to keep the fish in the small space for so long, i will keep feeding vitamins and hope the UV light does his job in the meantime

•clean and rins the sump of the medicine with osmose water and cuprisorb by seachem for a day before connecting it back with the main tank

Thank you in advance for willing to confirm for me if im approaching this right, i really need to hear this (ive got autism, i will keep worrying to a point of high stress)
