I’d love to add a Borbonius anthias pair and a gem tang
These are available currently and NY Aquatics and Reef Pro has had great deals on both species

A wild yellow tang! And why are white tail bristletooth tangs hard to come by? I really want to get one in person. But it has to be ordered specially most places or they are super expensive.
We have the whitetail bristletooth readily available at LFS's here in So. Cal, I just flat out refuse to pay the current price for them.

I’ve been trying to get my hands on a tailspot blenny for like 3-4 months now. I thought they were really popular but i guess not.
Great algae eaters and ive seen them here by me but it depends on which suppliers LFS are getting fish from

Pellets occasionally , algae flakes, nori seaweed and LRS nano frenzy.

Not a whole lot I want I can't find these days. The internet vs. LFS makes it a lot easier to find what I want. I do want a Potters Angel that is also pretty much unobtainium thanks to Hawaii.
I have no link to them whatsoever, but Biota just posted some captive bred ones. They are pricey though.

I say pink streaked wrasse/cryptic sixline wrasse
I had one targeted from my LFS a couple years ago. The day it came out of QT I stopped by after work and someone else had sniped it. It took almost a full year to finally snag one and another 7 months or so until I could land another. Now I have a happy pair though! I don't know what changed with these guys, but they are very hard to find these days.

Most all fish are now pricey and with import costs, you'd think captive bred would be cheaper all across the board

Most of the Pacific country's collectors are probably getting pennies to a couple dollars for stuff but yeah when you add air and sometimes multiple levels of distributors and more air before it gets to a LFS or online we pay the price. Even at that we are paying 100's of percent markups most of the time. Aquaculture is just not very cost effective for fish. Basically, like trying to run a 50000 gallon aquarium with equipment, utilities and selling a few fish to pay for it.
