I recently bought a “black widow” anemone but when I look at other peoples anemones it doesn’t look similar at all? I used an orange lense filter from orphex on my iPhone and one with a camera I have. I’d say the color is in between the two pictures. Where the first picture is darker and the second is brighter and the colors are very vibrant.

Unfortunately, if you don't know the lineage of the anemone, it can't be called a Colorado Sunburst ("CSB") or Chicago Sunburst (ChSB). At best it can be called a "sunburst" (notice it's not capitalized). If the seller called it a black widow, it's probably not a CSB or ChSB.

Do you have any photos of the mouth and area around it, and optimally not under heavy blue light? It's almost impossible to ID the anemone in heavy blue light and without seeing the mouth (especially if it is a black widow).

That’s a fair point. I bought it from a lfs so maybe they got things mixed up. I don’t got any pictures of the area around the mouth. At the moment I am personally saying very bright orange anemone. Whenever it opens up for me to see it’s mouth I will take a picture but it has stayed like it is in the picture for the past month of which I’ve had it.
