bought it as a lunar wrasse for 14.00 from a LFS...
Clearly not a lunar

That is a female Cirrhilabrus Lyukyuensis (Yellow Flanked Fairy Wrasse)

cool! drsfosterandsmith sell them at 59.99 i would say that was not a bad deal. Maybe i will try to find her a male. I am guessing the males just have a much darker bolder appearance?

Its also a Juvi - so it should color up a little more, as will giving it a nice varied diet -
At least that has been my experience with wrasses.
I don't have my wrasse book handy, so I'm not sure, but I know there is a couple that will turn into a male if you have a pair of juvi's (at least I think - somebody on here should know)

That is also a supermale (or full grown male) and a great picture from Live Aquaria. Most males look good, just not that intense unless they are full grown adults

that is for sure a juv. yellow flanked that looks to be turning into a male...most female yellow flanks do not have that yellow patch and you can see one starting to show on that fish and it is also starting to get some of the purple color in it...if you could find more females or juv. that would help it keep its color..please keep us updated with pics to see how things go..by the way that is a great price on that fish.. i see them go for alot higher
