what kind of corals can Orbit Marine LED's grow

I know that you can grow softies with Orbit Marine LED's, but I was wondering if you could grow
SPS like Acropora

I had 2 IC Pros and couldn't. not even at very top of my tank. most LPS ok. all softies ok too.

Do you think I could grow SPS with 4 T5s and the Orbit marine LEDs? 2 in front of the Orbit Marine LED and 2 behind the orbit marine LED.

i like those lamps, unfortunately they just do not have the par you need. What type of tank do you have? A shallow may have a bit more options.

Welcome to R2R!!! I am currently running the current ic marine pros the dual lights directly on my tank and I would say no to sps but if you supplement with t5's maybe depending on the length of photo period and how far up the tank you mount them. I would get a frag rack and set it high on the tank and grab an acropora frag and see if it opens up with the supplemented lighting. Sometimes you can find people selling gently used items on here if you wanted to upgrade your lights I am upgrading mine next month because of the growing restrictions.

ok would 2 32 hydras and then the T5s work fine to grow SPS?

I have a Orbit IC Pro on a 13 inch deep tank and I am growing SPS down to 6 inches deep in tank( everything but Acropora, don't have any).
Running 100% blue,35% white and no red or green. The one thing I really like about it is all the LEDs spread out so light hits every side of s coral as a posed to like a AI Prime 16HD where all the the LEDs are in the center.
What I hate is it turns every Acan orange--the prime doesn't.
