Hi folks, I'm looking for lighting suggestions for a frag tank: 4ft x 8ft x 1ft deep. I plan to grow mostly softies and LPS, with a few SPS. I don't need ramp up/down capability, but intensity control is necessary. I'm thinking about Orphek light bars, but I'm not sure. What would you use?

If you want simple on/off and intensity control, for a tank that size I'd do Quanta Atlas or a combination of Quanta Helix bars. @Lousybreed could recommend how many of each to cover that area. You don't need a ton of PAR, but that's a lot of real estate to cover.

You can get super cheap 0-10v dials for the intensity, then just use simple timers to turn them off and on.

I run 3 Quanta Atlas and a 71 inch Helix over my stage 1 Farm Build. My farm flat is 72"x48"x20"
Will Add second 71" when back in stock

You will love these lights, the Par Spread and spectrum is unmatched in this hobby.
The Price point is also unbeatable. The closest comparable lights are twice the money half the light !!!
