For the last 11+ years, I’ve been an Airworthiness Directive Compliance Lead for one of the major airlines. Before that did finance and internal audit.

Cancer researcher. Specifically epigenetics and enhancer/promoter misregulation in breast and ovarian cancer. Been working on single-cell-ATAC-seq in the hopes of being able to isolate circulating tumor cells from blood samples, generate an epigenetic profile, and determine mutations/drug resistances/sensitivities before patients begin treatment. Also how epigenetics can lead to drug resistances/sensitivities and if a drug could help in those modifications.

Network/System Admin. for me, I think getting into reefing scratches the same itch as researching, designing, building and maintaining working and reliable IT infrastructure that meets the needs of its users. That's my favorite part of my job. I say "think" because I'm only getting started with reefing and haven't gotten my hands wet yet!

I am a Realtor Now, and have done pretty much every aspect of Home construction including building, selling and lending.

Before this I was a Small Shop owner (Sold Disc Golf Equipment) and before that I owned a fish and reptile store with a buddy. I love working for myself and have a hard time thinking about going back. In fact I am thinking of going back into owning another shop, but only time will tell if that will unfold.
