I never see it come out of the rock though. The head looks identical though. Hmm.

I saw one when I first got my live rock. I didn’t see it forever but noticed maybe one a couple of nights ago. Or maybe that was a Medusa worm…Lol
Your isn’t but mine could of been looking back

It definitely could be a sea cucumber after looking at some pics. It may explain why my rocks spit out debris ever so often? These guys only stick out their fans but stay in the rocks.

I looked through most of these pages couldn’t find them. Good or bad. They are multiplying which is concerning. They are tiny white disks.

What kind on snail is this. At night they come out by the dozens and hide during the day.
If I drop some food in at night, they are on it out of nowhere in 60 seconds.

Good-bad? Is it a Pyramidellidae? I was thinking about getting a clam. Is this snail a clam killer?

Excellent reference! I have seen some of these critters and didn’t know if they were friend or foe, now I know.
Thanks for the post!

How would you consider removing a gorilla crab if it doesnt show up?
I got rid of mine by snatching it in the middle of the night with some long tongs.

Don't flip the light on until you know were it is. Once you flip the light on you only have a couple of seconds until its eyes adjust and it runs. Good luck.

This looks like a filter feeder. They're really multiplying on the rocks and glass. 20220320_134709.jpg

I found these strange inverts on my rockwork, it’s not like they’re NPS as they seem to really try stretch up to the light, any ideas? I thought either young Yellow Star Polyps or possibly a Tunicate (The only coral that was near them was a few months ago, these appeared a while after I moved the GSP though, also look too dull to be GSP).

Wish I had some spoinid worms still in my tank - Think my leopard and pink streak wrasses took them out though. Oh well! Atleast I got a sweet looking creature as my first hitch hiker in this nano (2 years in too haha).
