One aspect I think is interesting is seeing what people do with their tank's back wall. Sometimes is covered with encrusting corals, gsp or maybe some type of backdrop. I am wondering what does your back wall look like? Photo Credit: @T-J

Black krylon on the outside. Coraline on the inside

And I’m encrusting the overflow with 2 types of orange lepto. They look bright in any lighting and I figure…anything’s better than this internal overflow.

I’ll check back in 1.5 years when it’s done lol

for the ones that are mounting monti or gsp on the back wall, are you just using coral glue to get it to stick to the back wall?

I snapped the plug stem off and used gorilla glue gel to attach the plug right to the overflow and let the coral encrust over

15 years back, I had this hideous Greek Ruins poster thing on my back glass. Didn't last long. Hey! I was new! Ended up taking it off and going just glass. I like some of the ideas in thread tho. GSP would work well. It would just necessitate constant pruning.......
