Do you have anything in your tank considered "uncommon"?

Fox Coral. It’s not all that stunning, but it’s not common as far as I know. I’ve only ever seen one at a shop, and it was cheap so I bought it.

I think one of the weirdest things I've ever had was a 7' Baseodiscus mexicanus flatworm. Loved devouring snails, clam on the half shell, and bristleworms. One of the clown pairs used it like an anemone. Nothing bothered it, even the triggers, butterflies, and angels. It exuded a purple slime that I'm assuming was toxic when initially picked at, and nothing tried a second time.

Probably shouldn't have left out these guys from current tanks either, and a few from older systems as well.

I've got my Hawaiian yellow tang; he's been going strong for about 5 years. I guess he's something of a rarity these days.

Cookie! Although they seem to be a lot more popular now. They weren’t as popular when I first got one a few years ago. And Hewbie of course because reef tanks are way more popular than fowlr tanks. Although he’s not rare…not a lot of people in the hobby have porcupine puffers making him an uncommon pet in my opinion and they truly are the best. 10/10 my water puppy!

Nothing fancy, probably not considered uncommon, but with the Hawaiian ban I do not see them often. I didn't really notice them in others tanks pre-ban. Biota's captive bred, or raised, Milletseed Butterflyfish, Chaetodon miliaris. The small clip below it is with his Copperband buddy foraging in the macro algae looking for small aiptasia to eat.

In my old 90g, I had a Sea Apple. When I was on 3reef, I believe I was the only one who did. Or I just never had communication with others who had tried. I target fed that bad boy and it was a happy camper. BY FAR the most beautiful thing I had in the tank.

He has been in a reef and now a fowlr. Never bothers any fish or inverts. Reclusive as they are more nocturnal so if you have some dark caves and overhangs they will just sit and chill in there. Very cool fish though! I love him. When he comes out and swims he is very eye catching! Had him about two years now. He likes to mostly just float in his chosen spot, doesnt really need a huge tank. I had him in my 70 for a while, but combined that and my 125 gallon into a 300 and he likes to occasionally come out to swim but still hangs out under his ledge highly recommend, they are awesome!

The reason why marine bettas don't get more attention is beyond me. Beautiful fish.
Horshoe crab is very cool too!
