I have a 4ft x 22inch x 20 inch clear silicon tank made by CDA back in 2017. the silicon job on the bottom panel are not the prettiest, and I have tiny micro bubble on the seam from day one but those bubble didn't grow big and no leak till today. Knock on wood...

Hey guys! I have a CDA tank and figured I’d chip in. I too, chose them from reviews and warranty. I didn’t have the best service experience, there was an issue with communication regarding build delays but I stayed patient as I figured, good things take time. I’ve had my tank 72x36x24 eurobraced, silicone seam guards, starboard bottom etc, all of the bells and whistles of our dream tanks, for about two years now.
Thankfully, I have no issues. I searched on californias Secretary of State website though and on July 9th, Zoya filed to terminate the crystal dynamics aquarium manufacturing llc.
So I am pretty sure at this point, unless someone were to have an issue and pursue it with an attorney since the llc’s privelages are ceased, we simply don’t have a warranty anymore.

Sorry to hear someone else like me faced a tank leak, i just threw away mine this weekend making space for new tank CADE Peninsula 1500 S2/P. The CDA i had was only 2 -1/2 years old being a replacement after the 1st one leaked shy under 4 years. Hope this i wont face another leak. One advice i can say is always have a small tank laying around if you have space to store it. Luckily i had a 40G breeder and a All in one Nano sitting in my garage. I have lost two corals and my Powder Blue Tang ( 7 years had it for).

This really is crappy news!!! I own a CDA tank as well. Received it in June of 2023 but had not set it up until this past August. It’s in the realm of 210 gallons. Seems to be very well built but I am concerned like it seems others may be with the couple of people on here that have had issues. Hoping for the best for all of us CDA tank owners.

So sorry! How fast was it leaking? Did both tanks leak in roughly the same spot (bottom corner)?for reference Where the leak sprung

I am probably one of the last tanks built by them took possession in the last week of August and had not even heard a whisper that there were problems. I hope this monster never turns loose! 8’ 480 gallons.dang. A whole lot of us is SOL. . If I was closer I’d, visit the facility in which I have before when I was planning my build. Met the husband Trent which is apparently part owner to his Wife Zoya. I believe Trent is a member on here and saw a couple of FS threads selling off reef equipment.

This would be excellent news to quite a few folks including myself. If it is true, cda dropped the ball with all of this in my opinion. I understand things happen especially in todays age, but they should of been upfront and honest with the remaining customers. Even if all warranties were no longer covered and explanation and information would of been appreciated.
