Green bird wrasseSaw a couple of fire worms and wondering what fish or invert will kill a fireworm?
Pretty sure it was a fire worm, it was red and had the white tuffs all along it.Fireworm or bristleworm?
Fireworms are very uncommon to get unless you bought real ocean rock, but even then it's highly unlikely.
Got a picture of the worms?
Pretty sure it was a fire worm, it was red and had the white tuffs all along it.
I disagree. Bird Wrasses are incredibly aggressive and don’t just eat inverts but can also go against elongated body fish like firefish.Green bird wrasse
That's the definition of a bristlewormPretty sure it was a fire worm, it was red and had the white tuffs all along it.

It looked like the one on the far left but it kind of looked like it had bigger and whiter tuffs on the along it like the first picture but it might have been the same I can’t remember to be honest.

All Fireworms are Bristleworms but not all Bristleworms are Fireworms.
Ive seen this in person at an LFS and also I gave mine to a couple in Northern Wisconsin who says its their best fish. Go from Experience and not what you read. I sold many at my LFS and Never got a complaint.I disagree. Bird Wrasses are incredibly aggressive and don’t just eat inverts but can also go against elongated body fish like firefish.
A better bet is to find out the OP’s tank size and then figure out a solution.
