This appears at this time to be lymphocystis which is a condition and not disease. Often its associated with water quality issue as simple as elevated ammonia or nitrate and can be that of water from LFS and not yours. Assure to provide Good water quality monitored by a reliable test kit and feed nutritious food with fats such as LRS nano frenzy and mysis shrimp.
That’s what I was leaning towards as well, but want other options before I put him through the stress of QT again. If it’s in agreement that it is not ich/velvet I don’t think I’m going to QT againThis appears at this time to be lymphocystis which is a condition and not disease. Thank you! Spots haven’t changed or multiplied for 24 hoursLymphocystis is more usually seen on the trailing edges of fins, not on the sides of fins. The spots are about the right size for ich, but ich doesn't cluster like that, ich would be more randomly spread out on the fish.
If the spots don't change location or increase in number over the next few days, I would consider that it is Lymphocystis.
