What does “Bump” mean?

I see that in threads all the time.

Somebody will reply to a thread with the word “bump”.

What does that mean?

People will "Bump" old threads so that it brings it back to the top where more people interact with the thread / post.

It usually means they are STILL looking for an answer to their question most of the time.

Ah... so by "bumping", it gets to the top of the thread list because of the recent "post".
