I started culturing tisbee copepods and I was looking to build a sieve set after seeing how pricey they were online. For those of you who went the DIY route, what did you use for the mesh? I'm thinking of going 50-125-250.

Go to a Fishing and Tackle store or have a look online for those trawlable Plankton nets.
I'd thought of getting one for a while because I often go fishing and figure I could get free Phyto and pods.
There are some commercial Plankton Nets worth thousands of dollars so it might take a minute of digging to find one that could be used by a hobbyist but they absolutely exist, I saw two under $50 at my local tackle and bait store recently.
